Hi, I'm Linda.

I'm a licensed psychotherapist, career transition coach, and a mother of a beautiful boy.

Based in Singapore, I offer bilingual therapy in English and Mandarin Chinese for clients worldwide.

For over a decade, I worked across the full range of corporate life — sales and marketing, industry and policy research, and senior leadership. And yet, as the years flew by, I found that climbing the corporate ladder didn't bring me closer to fulfilment in any meaningful sense.

It was only when I stopped treating my restlessness and frustration as problems to push through — and started listening to them as signals — that things began to change. During the pandemic, I found myself drawn to neuroscience and psychology, and finally decided to pursue that interest seriously.

A meaningful transition takes more than a dream.

Looking back, my turning point came when I finally allowed myself to feel what I'd long been suppressing — the anger, the urge to flee, and the constant chase for the next thing.

My career pivot unfolded over five years — I was working my corporate job by day, studying by night, and carefully building the financial foundation to make the leap possible. That experience shapes how I work with clients today: bringing grounded pragmatism to every session, helping you navigate both your internal emotional hurdles and your external, practical challenges.

Becoming a mother in the middle of my clinical training — and at the height of my earning years — taught me to embrace uncertainty. It was profound, messy, and transformative, and now informs my work with postnatal clients navigating their own complex shifts in identity and purpose.

MY APPROACH

My counselling approach

I believe our emotions are our life's compass. They should not be ignored, pushed down, or feared — they carry valuable information about where we came from, who we are, and what is most important to us. Institutional education and conventional wisdom have taught us to "manage" our emotions, leading many of us to dissociate from our feelings. In our work together, we will practice leaning into them, allowing them to guide you without overwhelming you.

A tailored, integrative practice

Rooted in a Person-Centered foundation, trusting that you are the expert on your own life. I utilise Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT) while weaving in Gestalt and psychoanalytic techniques to help you uncover deeper patterns.

Somatic support to unlock awareness

Talk therapy is at the heart of our work, but body-based practices can help unblock what words alone can't. Drawing on my decade of aerobics and pilates training, I weave in gentle somatic practices — because unprocessed emotion often shows up in the body first.
